Frequently asked questions

Is Holobrook free?

Yes, completely. There is no signup, no download, and nothing to buy. Everything runs in your browser and your collection saves locally.

Do I need an account?

No. Your trainer, binder, and progress live in your browser. You can back them up any time from Settings.

How many cards are in a booster pack?

Around ten, depending on the era. Each pack is built from real slot structures, several commons, a few uncommons, a reverse-holo, and a rare-or-better "hit" slot, matching how packs of that era are actually laid out.

Are duplicate cards normal?

Completely. Across the packs in a box you'll pull the same commons and uncommons often, which is exactly why collectors trade and why Holobrook lets you dust extras into currency. Chasing one specific card usually means opening plenty of packs.

How accurate are the cards and pull rates?

Card names, images, sets and market values come from the community-maintained pokemontcg.io database, so card identity and approximate prices are quite accurate. Pull rates are different: official odds aren't published for most products, so ours are community-approximated estimates, not official numbers, kept fully transparent on the Pull rates page.

Is this an official product?

No. Holobrook is an independent fan project for entertainment, not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo or The Pokémon Company.

Pick how you play
Unlimited (rip freely), Rip (a surprise pack every time), or Collector (daily packs, level up, master sets). Change it anytime.
