Kids can't afford the chase, and the grown-ups who started it all get priced out of their own childhood.

Holobrook is a small attempt to give that feeling back. The thrill of tearing open a fresh pack. The gasp when the foil catches the light. The joy of finally pulling the one you've been hunting. No scalpers, no sold-out signs, no second mortgage. Just you, a booster, and the magic of the reveal.

Holobrook is a free Pokémon pack opening simulator that runs in your browser, set in a cozy town for card collectors. It covers 176 real sets, from 1999's Base Set to 2026, and 20,670 cards with market prices. Tear into real booster packs, chase the holos and rare cards you love, and build a growing digital collection, with no account, no downloads, and nothing to install. Your binder saves right in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Is Holobrook free?

Yes, completely. There is no signup, no download, and nothing to buy. Everything runs in your browser and your collection saves locally.

Do I need an account?

No. Your trainer, binder, and progress live in your browser. You can back them up any time from Settings.

How many cards are in a booster pack?

Around ten, depending on the era. Each pack is built from real slot structures, several commons, a few uncommons, a reverse-holo, and a rare-or-better "hit" slot, matching how packs of that era are actually laid out.

Are duplicate cards normal?

Completely. Across the packs in a box you'll pull the same commons and uncommons often, which is exactly why collectors trade and why Holobrook lets you dust extras into currency. Chasing one specific card usually means opening plenty of packs.

How accurate are the cards and pull rates?

Card names, images, sets and market values come from the community-maintained pokemontcg.io database, so card identity and approximate prices are quite accurate. Pull rates are different: official odds aren't published for most products, so ours are community-approximated estimates, not official numbers, kept fully transparent on the Pull rates page.

Is this an official product?

No. Holobrook is an independent fan project for entertainment, not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo or The Pokémon Company.

Pick how you play
Unlimited (rip freely), Rip (a surprise pack every time), or Collector (daily packs, level up, master sets). Change it anytime.

Open booster packs
Tap the pack to tear it open and reveal your cards, with real market values and pull rates.

Keep or dust
Save the cards you love to your binder, or dust duplicates into dust you can spend.

Collect and complete
Fill your Collection Log, chase grails, and finish master sets.

Spend and grow
Shop for cards with dust, grade your best pulls, and earn trainer titles with perks.

Come back daily
Fresh packs, a restocked shop, daily quests and a growing streak keep the town alive. Not opening today's packs? Bank them, they're saved for good, and open them all at once whenever you like.

⚙ Settings

Reveal style

Slide (default) = face-up, slide each card away like a real pack (the rare slot stays face-down) · Stack = flip one off the top · Grid = flip at your pace · Flip all = cascade · Quick = commons flip themselves, hits wait for your tap. On a keyboard, Space does the next step.

Duplicates

Collector mode. New cards always go in your binder. This is what happens to copies you already have. Valuable duplicates (10 dust or more) are always asked.

Multipack hits

When you Flip all on 10 packs or a box: keep the hits face-down so you can reveal them last, or flip everything at once.

Reveal order

Sound & motion

Notifications

Never between 9 pm and 9 am your time, and at most 2 a day. The daily reminder only comes if you haven't opened Holobrook that day, and stops if you've been away a week.

Community

When on, your best pull from each open is posted to the public Daily Best Pulls board under your trainer name. No account, and nothing else about you leaves your device. The live ticker on the home scrolls the newest great pulls from trainers everywhere.

Backup

Your collection lives in this browser only. Export a backup so a cleared browser never wipes it, and restore it on any device.

🔑 Keep your collection safe

Your whole collection lives only in this browser, there's no account. Clearing site data, or (on iPhone) not visiting for 7 days, can erase it. Grab a private key and save it somewhere, it's the only way to get your journey back, and it loads your collection on any other device too.
